Thanks to their constructive design, the tube resistance thermometer Type TP21 meets the conditions for dead space- free and hygienic measurements in all liquid media such as milk, beer, juice etc. that, for example, cleaning operations with a pig etc. are possible.
The device consists of a tubular body with a stainless steel neck tube. A PT100 resistor is integrated in the tubular body. The measuring insert optionally contains one or two PT100 measuring resistors, which are connected in 2, 3 or 4-wire technology to the terminal base in the connection head.
The temperature sensors are integrated in the pipeline. Different connection variants are available for the different applications. Thanks to the special design of the stainless steel connection head in the proven field housing, the sensors are particularly suitable for measuring tasks under corrosive and aggressive environmental conditions. Even under applications in wet and damp environments and extreme conditions, the construction in IP65 or IP67 guarantees robustness and high reliability.
The temperature sensors are adapted to the requirements with regard to temperature, length, resilience, vibration resistance and measuring accuracy. For special applications, the wetted parts can be supplied with a high-gloss finish.
