Technical features:
- SIL3 / SIL 2 - CIP Ethernet / IP safety rotary encoder in industrial standard size 58mm
- Redundant layout (CAT4): two completely independent multiturn absolute encoders the size of a single
- CIPsafety protocol (position and speed signal, preset command)
- Ethernet / IP protocol (Encoder-Object, DLR, DHCP, programmable resolution and speed, speed signal)
- Incremental output (HTL or TTL or SIN / COS) or absolute SSI as option
- They are able to provide the position and speed value in the safe channel and, depending on the applications, they are available in the SIL3 / PLe or SIL2 / PLd category.
Mechanically available in the following versions:
- Series CDV582M with protruding shaft
- CDS582M series with hollow shaft not passing through with a max hole of 15 mm
- Series CDH582M with through hollow shaft with max hole 15 mm
The encoders are manufactured according to the standards defined by OVDA: CIP Safety / volume 7 / edition 2.16 and support the CIP Encoder Device Profile 0x22 protocol.
Thanks to the high technological level, it is possible to execute the preset command even with the encoder in motion or to acquire the position and speed data of the two encoders to create hybrid, safety and standard applications simultaneously with a single device. They also support various features of Ethernet IP communication such as DLR (device level ring), ACD (address collision detection), DHCP.
As for the Profinet / Profisafe version, they are available with optical / magnetic and magnetic / magnetic detection.
