BRAND : Kieselmann
KIESELMANN overflow valves are used to relieve pressure in closed systems or to limit the delivery pressure in conventional pump circuits. As soon as the delivery pressure exceeds the set value, the valve opens and the escaping medium can be discharged to the outside or returned in a controlled manner. A flow-optimised plate geometry ensures precise opening and closing behaviour as well as high flow capacity.
The opening pressure can be adjusted by means of a hexagonal head. This is secured against unintentional readjustment. Pneumatic ventilation allows the valves to be opened on full stroke, e.g. for CIP cleaning. The KIESELMANN range of pressure relief valves is available in the modular system of the KI-DS valve range in the same way as the single-seat valves, as elbow, T and loop valves. It fulfils all aspects of hygienic design.
End position feedback or control heads can be mounted directly onto the drive. If the setting range of the drive is not sufficient, you can simply retrofit it and expand it with a larger drive. Optionally, a purely pneumatic version is also available. Here, the closing pressure of the overflow valve is defined by a pressure superposition of the double-acting actuator . The setting of the overlay pressure or the response pressure is then carried out via an external filter pressure regulator.
• Optional: Purely pneumatic actuator
• No external movable components – no risk of injury
• Easy mounting of the end position feedback (retrofittable)
• 6 exchangeable actuator sizes
• Standard version is with pneumatic lifting function
