The transmitter is designed for measuring air speed. The measuring method is based on the hot-film anemometer principle, whereby a specially developed thin-film sensor element is used.
The exact and reliable determination of the air speed depends on the correct positioning of the sensor. Accurate measurements are only possible if the sensor is attached to a location with non-turbulent flow.
